Interactive Flash
This is a fully interactive Flash portal that uses a Flash admin panel for control. It uses MySQL/PHP for storage and delivery and Flash for presentation.
Due to the nature of the system and it's modules, certain areas require registration (no email required). Some modules require no user account. It can of course be run wide open but areas like the User Forum would ultimitely have a slew of Anonymous posts and things like User Profile and Private Messaging would be useless.
Oh yes...and it's made with Swishmax (exported as flash of course) . The benefits are control. The admin panel can be run from http, your desktop or from CD without need for a browser, just an internet connection.
The project goal is not to create a flashy website but rather a website that can handle large amounts of live data which can be interacted with. Design wise, it can be coded with internal graphics, external graphics with theme selection or completely coded with MySQL controlled colored vectors decided by the end user with a pallette for a pseudo CSS feel. The integrated Paypal E-Store and File Repository are being coded now and both are of course Sql based and will be fully admin panel controlled.

Flashkit historian
Extremely impressive work Chris,
I've seen other swish built forums but none which load as quickly.
Have you ever thought about using a flash cookie as an additional security for ban
ip's are pretty easy to switch and most don't think about flash cookies being stored.
eg if banned redirect to an swf with a ban var
then on return the script checks the flash cookie for the ban var
Nicely done.

AOL Integration & Status - Swish Style
Thanks again for the input. I am switching back to FlashMX with Swishmax as a second for a year or so or until the next Swishmax release and changing domain names so I've removed the dead links.
