widescreen laptops and text

I have a widescreen laptop and when I open Flash MX, a lot of the text is pixelated to the point where I can't read it (it's mostly just text in the tool windows ... if need be I can post a screen shot). I figured out that in Dreamweaver you can change a setting to make the program default to a larger font, is there a setting in Flash MX that does the same thing? If so, where can I find it?
