What is FZ5 like? The zoom? The macro? The lens quality? Quick start up? Quick photo taking? I know there are reviews like steves-digicams and dpview but thought it would be good to hear directly from a fellow FK member.

Damn man, your gonna need an assistant soon to carry everything around.

What do you think of the Extension tubes, what lense do you use them with? I have a $75 gift certificate on amazon, and I have been thinking about getting some to use with my 18-70mm.

Or should I just save up and buy a true macro?

I will mainly use them on my 400mm but also, for some major maagnification, with my macro. If you are serious about getting some decent 1:1 macro you will need a macro lens, if not then you should be able to get reasonable shots with tubes, for a lot cheaper.
