Here's a frog i found during a walk in the forest

I just bought a camera and decide to take it with me on a walk in the forest.
There i saw a frog in the water and i "shot" him.
    Hope you like it.

    greetings Rob

i still haven't ID-ed this spider yet, but i'll get out the field guide tonight.
i've ruled out wolf or brown recluse...this one is closer to a wolf.
she had a pretty big egg sac with her, so she wasn't moving around a lot.

    nordboy really liked her too...

Ah, these boys is all swelled up. So this was earlier...getting set to trade. Then, woooaaah differences.

We have lots of spiders like that here.
    I think it's a wolf.

Do I see an animated gif of that spider jumping on his face coming soon?

yea, young kids for the most part don't have any fear like we do when it comes to things like spiders and snakes... usually they will go right up to things and try and touch them.

lol lefty - i pretty much had to tell him not to touch it.
he loves bugs, spiders, snakes and all that.

addy - my first thought was that it's a wolf too...
they come in many different patterns, i just haven't been able to look it up yet.

Dude, there was a wolf spider in my garage one time, a big one. You know they jump too, all of the sudden the can leap like 10 feet

anyway back to my garage, I got a hockey stick and started smashing it... as I smashed it exploded into thousands of tiny spiders, very strange.... like that old Tron video game. The hockey stick was no longer of use, so I grabbed some insecticide and started spraying them down.

I guess once that egg hatches, they carry the young around on their back. I am almost certain it's a Wolf, but let me know if you learn differently.

great thred so far, some great "gobble" action from skate on that turkey thing!!

Love the frog too, and the re-appearence of robbs ducks are very welcome in my book.

... looks like a lot of the guys here are more in touch with their feminine side than Mr Willy gave credit for.

I have a rabbit that lives in my house (i think a rabbit in a hutch can be a bit cruel)
I will try and get a good shot of him later on.

There have been some great photos posted here (keep em coming!)...but i was particularly talking about the stereotype that men don't care for cats, not all animals.

Shooting animals (with a camera) can be a tough challenge for photographers and should be practiced when possible.
