    [Game] Pin Ball

The 2nd game for the adidas site is live today, hurray!

Click the link, make sure you enable pop-ups for the site, from there go to games and then Football challenge, and the new game is called "Pin Ball".
You'll have to sign up I'm afraid ( We just made the games, the site is done by a different agency ).

It's quite a nice little game, but again done in the most insane time scale. Hope you enjoy it.

PS. For those of you who check the sN blog, yep I've been lazy and just copy and pasted here

Well, the client decides these things mate.

Don't really need the feedback ( It's gone gold now ), just pure pimping on my behalf, and a pretty nice game for you guys to play

Its well done and indeed a nice game but still I was slightly disapointed. I just expected more like a real pin ball table from its name. Too me its more golf then pinball... somehow I missed the connection to pin ball. :I

    Glad you liked it.

The name was just a play on words, 'cause of a golf pin and, erm, a football. We kinda like the dual meaning.

Wow, is it me, or is the board a bit busy today ? Nice to see such an active young poster taking an interest though.

Ta Blinky babe. Yeah the first one was hellish 'cause we had to get all that stuff in place as well as write the actual game. The theory being that each further episode would be pain free... Nice theory. localToGlobal is a little minx at times, that's all I'm going to say

Blips f**king thanks mate It's not an indy thing though, I did it through work ( preloaded ), which takes the shine off a bit. Can't actually remember the last indy thing I did to be honest.

    "coz it's my favourite command!"

Oh mate, I had nothing but grief with it. Everything worked fine, tested it on the dev server in the holder / nav swf, and everything broke! Even the shape hitTest checks !
Still don't even know why, and did a nasty kludge fix ( Just so painful, altering code; publishing; ftp-ing; loading the dev page; testing; swearing and repeat. On a Friday. At 7:30. Joy ).

    Pugger I do try blue

Hey guys, sorry must have missed your replies due to the slight spamming recently

adit, preloaded got the job mate, not me working under the shoah or stimunation banner, so it's not quite as cool ( Although still sweet ).
The site it's in is a bit lumpy, and having to run the game both in a browser and high quality does push the Flash player a lot more than we'd have liked.

    Cheers Mikey babe

I finally signed up (usually I don't bother) and tried the game. It's polished, solid work as usual. The controls and instructions are very intuitive, and it looks great. One thing I found a bit annoying was that you couldn't see the pin when aiming. Other than that, congrats to the finished game!

Nice game (though I agree that it's hard to work out where you have to hit). I heard preloaded are hiring. Any truth to this, and what capacity?

Oh, you have 2 united kingdoms on the countries drop down in the registration form.
