    20" TFT

Hmm... I've been meaning to upgrade for a while... I think 20" is the way to go...

    This looks cool! http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=91494

Anything else I can get for around £400?

For a while? Will your graphics card run at the monitors native resolution?

I always consider that I perfer to have two smaller screens as apposed to one biggie. My buddy has an apple 30" and frankly I get lost. Plus two of these babies just looks sweet.

Mine will double as a TV, so one good one is fine...

I'll be getting a new graphics card soon too... I want one that will support its native res (1600x1200), obviously, but without fans if possible...

30" is too big... I think a nice 20" will be fine... I can fit everything on it and it will still look ok from the sofa...

I have always wanted to get a decent projector and use it as a monitor.

    Anyone ever tried that?

Yup, its RUUUUUUUUUBISH! Any kind of sun and its impossible to see, if it gets knocked or moved you have to recalibrate it every time to get the pitch set correctly, its just not worth it...

Plus the colours are always washed out compaired to a CRT or TFT...

I have a 20" Philips monitor and it's awesome... but it's pretty expensive, and even if you get a buncha cupons and rebates it's still pricey... but yeah I love my 20"!

Looks very nice, but wouldn't i be right in saying its the same resolution as the 17" one? In which case it just makes stuff bigger? (is that £199 inc VAT?)
