Tattooist site
Hello everybody.
I would appreciate some feedback on a site I have done for a Tattooists.
The page turning effect is not created by me, kudos has to go out to Pixelwit.com for that piece, what I am after is feedback into the usability of the site.
As it stands, only the first portfolio is active, the additional two portfolios will go on very soon.
Thanks

Sorry.
Can I add that once you click on the enter button, if the page has a purple background this is the old version of the site.
This should be fixed by reloading the site, the new version has a dark grey background.
Thanks

Can't see the tabs on the rhs of each tatooists portfolio - way to small. The plain white and grey looks amateurish - how about some shading or something??? Also get rid of some of the outlines, or make them less black. Too in your face.
Like the transitions. Keep up the good work

Thanks for the feedback.
I know what you mean with the white looking too plain. Was really struggelling to make it look like a portfolio page.
Have got to do something to make it look crisper.
With regards to the tabs on the right hand side, when you rollover them, the name for each section fades in above the portfolio. If this is the wrong way to do it then I will look at making each button name pop up next to the button.
Any other feedback will be appreciated.

I agree about the tabs, the rollover really isn't noticeable and it isn't clear what's going on. Think about putting the menu perhaps in the left next to the person's photo, that white page there looks blank like it's missing something.
The tatoos look super good.
Your site is just kinda dinky small there. Too much whitespace. I would like to see more design and color on the full page and some more flashy transitions to get me excited about the work. Keep all the blowups really big, like the first one if possible. The work is really nice and intricate and should be given weight.

its nice but...
I agree with them about the tab things, though if you removed the text on the tabs, then people wouldn't be trying to read it and miss the fading text at the top. It may not be nescessary.
Also if the fade of the movie clips at the top showing the text was a lot more immediate and maybe in a differing font to the rest of the site then it would make more of an impact. I feel that the slowness of the fade loses the connection between your mouses interaction with the button and the function of changing the text.
I like the site though, the page turning aspect is very nice as are the images.
nice
Michael
