hehe. careful now. u know he's saying that because Longhorn is supposed to have hardware standards like a mac. he wants more of that fancy-case, 3d-windows-effect share.

but when Billy G is talking about hardware standards, he's not talking about just trusted hardware... read about the damn video limitations, and what not?

if you don't have "qualified" hardware, you'll get degraded video and perhaps sound because it's not trusted... bleh.

Because at the time that movie was made, he did the voiceovers for Kermit the Frog to pay his way through college.

Learn some history, my computer geek brothers.

Bill Gates developed software for Steve Jobs' Macintosh back in the old days. They were awesome business partners. Then Gates backstabbed Jobs because he knew that software needed not to be made for just one type of machine but for many others as well in order to succeed...

"No, Steve, I think its more like we both have a rich neighbor named Xerox, and you broke in to steal the TV set, and you found out I'd been there first, and you said. "Hey that's no fair! I wanted to steal the TV set! - Bill Gates' response after Steve Jobs accused Microsoft of borrowing the GUI from Apple for Windows 1.0"
