convert quicktime video to swf movie?

Hi

Total noob.

Anyway, I do have Flash MX and After effects 6.5 pro. Just learning how to use them.

I want to make a movie similar to the one http://www.creativemac.com/2004/02_f...sitiveluv3.htm here. The video is at the bottom of the page.

Is it possible to convert that exact video, hearts and all, into a Flash movie in swf format?

Pretty simple....

Just import the movie to flash, drag an instance to the timeline and export. The resulting .swf file will be an exact copy of the QT movie, but in .swf format.

Flash MX uses a single pass conversion, but you may want to check into MX 2004 if your using video programs like AE for comp - as there are plugins that allow you to export directly from you video app - but they are 2004 Pro only.

I believe Flash 8 features dual pass imports, otherwise you can purchase Flix or Sorenson Squeeze.
