Back forward navigation

I would like to know how I would go about scripting a button that would tell the timeline to go backward or forward along the main timeline when a left right rockers keys are pressed?


any ideas, it seems all the code I am looking at isn't compatible with flash 1.1 / flash 4 export but only as far back as flash 5??

I think the forgotten command "tellTarget" can help. use the slash & tellTarget method to command actions in the main timeline

Have gone about it another way.. not the best way but good enough for a prototype... File size a bit larger but its working..
