    first design

Having a little problem with a flash menu, but at the same time could you give c&c on this first design for a site I'm working on.

The menu problem is that it reloads in every page. Is there any way to stop it doing this?

    - Template

well, indeed ? i dunno what to reply on a "template" site... man, if this were u'r 1st design u would have been given the "nober prize", well not literary, but u got the point, right ? Anyways, i'd suggest u make a site that is made by u 100% or atleast 80-90%, cause it sux to use templates...

The site is made by me. The only template I used was the one that I set-up for the base. Aside from that, is there any way to stop the flash menu from reloading everytime a new page is loaded.

I dont think you should build the site in flash at all. I see no need whatsoever. Don't use flash just because. The way the site functions does not justfiy the use of flash, perhaps a hybrid HTML/FLASH with the top being flash, the nav and the bottom being HTML?

at the moment the menu system is done with flash as I found it easier to do the drop downs that way instead of pulling my hair out by doing it in DHTML, or paying for a lisence to use someone elses. Eventually the site is going to be database driven, but for now I'm just going to keep it simple.

the only criticism i have on an artistic level is that maybe you should normalize the black color of each model's shirt in photoshop. that would continue with the feeling of uniformity the rest of the site conveys. other than that, it is looking very nice.

    Hmm i agree.

This site doesnt have to be flash at all. Unless you were planning to add animations or anything like that I would suggest changing it all to html, use an include for the menu or anything you dont want to reload and maybe a javascript popup menu.
