Nice design but for being a site with no content it takes forever to load. Do you have the music included in the fla? You should stream it from the server in that case to make the oading time faster.

I think 611 kilobyte is a little large just to get the navigation. Another thing that Im not to fond of is that when you have waited for the page to load, you have to wait longer to actually navigate the site, as it animates for a while. When a user returns to the site he probably knows exactly what section or sections he wants to see and want to go there as soon as possible.

In my opinion splash pages and intro animations are just a waste of time for the user ( unless there are some important info there ) . Its another story if you have lots of animated examples on the site, as then its the user that choose to see it.

But this is just my personal opinions ( Im a firm believer in getting info and important stuff quickly ).

I like the design its got a good feel to it. Not sure if it needs to be in a pop up though, but I guess they make sense to keep it the right size. Doesnt seem to have a preloader on mine at all? 600kb a lot? I dont think so since its a portfolio site people going there should be prepared to wait a few seconds, but it needs a preloader. Maybe I just missed it.

One minor problem is the splash page has a vertical scrollbar on my 1024x768 res, so you need to make it about 50 pixels shorter so then I dont have a scroller with a bit at the bottom.

That would be OK if there were any portfolio content, which there isnt.

You should also check your html file. It is over 400 kb and is adding a lot to the download time.
