New Wave
Upcoming Movies
Looks like some interesting movies coming out...
Get Rich or Die Tryin...

At first when I saw this movie was coming out I thought to myself, 50 cent acting? Uh, no thanks. However word is that he turns out a great performance. And look at the director, the whitest white guy you've ever seen from Ireland - Jim Sheridan. This guy only makes great movies.
Something else ironic? The director of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" - Ang Lee, has directed a movie about two homosexual cowboys in Wyoming.

and it's supposed to be amazing.
Has anyone seen the 40 year old Virgin yet? Hilarious.

?
not been to see movies for a long time so got a lot of catching up to do!
More recently, I watched The Football Factory on DVD -- good but bloody horrible one! Really makes you feel sick...
and that is it as far I can remember? Been too busy with work.
The movies you listed above sounds good -- may check them out when they come out at cinemas.

"No dude, independent films are those black and white hippie movies. They're always about gay cowboys eating pudding."

Charlize ROCKS!!
Kristi and I saw "40 year old virgin" and we laughed the entire movie. You just have to get past all the "****s". That was absolutely the funniest movie I have seen in a long time.

Have you seen House of 1000 Corpses??? I laugh at that one every time i watch it. The characters in the movie definitely make it worthwhile to watch, even though it's not a very creative/original storyline. The gore is pretty good in it too.

I personally don't see Charlize Theron as Aeon Flux. she's just not bad a$$ enough for me... now if they had redone aeon flux as a cartoon movie in it's original style i'd totally pay $10 to see it.

Yeah i really liked House of 1000 Corpses, it had a typical "Chainsaw Massacre" storyline but it was original enough to warrant a thumbs up. If you liked that, you should check out "The Devils Rejects" which is another movie along those lines directed by Rob Zombie. The crazy clown guy from 1000 Corpses is in it, looks pretty sweet, i think it's out of the theatres now though.

SawII looks amazing. Bad acting aside the first one was really good and the "traps" were sick. The new Saw is a big group of people so you know it will be good
Too bad they give away like 3 or 4 ways people die in the theatrical trailer.

yeah the trailer i saw yesterday showed the first person getting shot right in the eye not 30 seconds in.. it was pretty great.
the plot for those of you not it the know, is a group of strangers gets placed into a house. in three hours they will be set free.. the catch is they only have 2 hours to live, because a lethal nerve gas has been released and the only chance they have to survive is to find clues about the antedote.. this most likelymeans they will need to solve deadly puzzles and/or slice open some living people in oroder oto get what they need to solve the puzzle.
past puzzles include, beartrap on a girls face, the key to get it off inside someones intestines.
a guy covered in flameable stuff is locked in a room. noo windows no lights, with a safe in the middle of the room with a single candle, all along the wall is a math problem that when solved has the answer to the safe with a towel and the way out of the room.
a fat man gets put into a cage/maze of barbed wire with only 45 minutes to get out before he is locked in a cellar forever.
two guys locked in what looked like a bathroom chaine to a wall the only way out is to either shoot the other person or use the hacksaw's provided to cut off your foot.
