Saving graphics in flash?
I am thinking of an idea where a user would have a "palette" of vector images to place on a stage area (within the flash movie) and arrange them to their liking. Do you think it would be possible to save the position of each item and then load that into the file and print the result? I mean, they could send their configuration to someone, and someone would be able to print out the picture.
I can think of ways to do everything except the print part, that is a little hazy to me. Any ideas or examples anyone?

we created a Build-A-Snowman game years ago and used printAsBitmap (http://www.macromedia.com/support/fl...ionary626.html) to allow the user-created image to be printed.
there might be better ways now but that one worked.

Aha, I'll give that a shot, thanks much!

I'm not sure if print in flash has improved, but I remember having a hell of time with getting page size/positioning right.
In the end, I think I had to make an off screen movieclip with an invisible background sized to A4 as a page template. This was a long time ago though (Flash 5 at most)...
Good Luck
