OK,
Im just gonna whine and b**** about something quick.
Went to a car boot sale type thing this morning cause the weather was nice, but too cold for the beach.
Strolling around I found a stall that had good copies of old books run by these 2 really old ppl, I had a chat to them and they seemed quite nice…
OR were they?
Anyway! I found a copy of Steven King’s IT.
An old edition with the first illustration on it (the one with the gutter and balloon and stuff) In really good condition, and seeing as how mine was jaffed (stolen) for only 30 bucks. That sounded like a bit of mellow to me so I took it.
Really chuffed with my “good buy” I took it out in the car on the way home to have a better look at it.
On the inside there were 3 price tags from different stores. The first original tag was from C.N.A. (book store chain here) that said R99.85. (back in the day and today it would probably go for a lot more) Mellow I got it cheaper.
The next one was for a second hand place that said R50. Still mellow.
The last one was from a book exchange place that I go to sometimes that said R14.

Unfortunately no, I lent it to a friend who lent it to a friend and so on and so forth...
I guess eventually it just grew feet.
I hate it when you lend stuff to ppl and it just dissappears, or comes back broken or gets sold.
