previews for a site arent promising, it wont cut it.

Moved to Members Sites, and some of you guys need to chill-out. Saying that a site is no good is worthless without some constructive criticism to back-up your statement.

We're supposed to be a community so at least try to help out when you can.

dont be so harsh the guys making a site for himself hes not claiming to be some pro webdesigner.

I think this site should not be in flash....... unless your going to do things that html cannot possibly do then why not use dreamweaver with some intergrated flash. if its not going to make any diffrence to the site than why not let your site get a better index on search engines?

I agree with Dragonusthei, there is no real reason to do this site specifically in flash.

Although, looking at what cool things can be done in flash, I think you could do some really funky animations.

I have seen liquid effect backgrounds at such places as iStockphoto.com that would really bring your page to life.

I can see you have spent a bit of time on the layout, although some other members may not appreciate it, so if you feel you could do something cool with it - dont let opinions sway your commitment.

Personally I feel the header (top image of your name) could be toned down a touch, but I do like the shiny, slightly 3D effect on the window frames.

Post it back when you have done more to it.

Actually, i think what this site lacks is a bit of effort.
i think you should take more inspiration from other sites and try out for a more simple layout first. once you mastered making nice simple layouts, you can start with more complex or what we say photoshopped layouts.

bad points:
1. big pixel fonts which are supposed to be small.
2.a scroll bar not matching the site scheme.
3.the pattern for the BG is not too suitable, maybe you could go to www.bluevertigo.com.ar for the pattern section to find some.

First off, Preloader is spelled wrong, lol. It would be nice to see a download percentage or something, I thought my computer froze up for a minute. I would have to pretty much agree with everyone else - the site sucks big time. The layout is just so loud and straight up ugly. It's too much red. Everything looks stretched and pixelated. It's just awful. Sorry for being so harsh, but you can't be serious.
