    it's actually the same location as my previous post, charleston harbor. that expanse of grass is actually salt-water marsh, and you can see a pelican cruising by. not a great photo, i know, but it did look kind of desolate and mundane...i liked it for some reason.

    I went to charleston in january. well Morris island technicly. it was fun. even swimming in the ocean when it was 32 degrees at eleven at night. that lasted all of about three minutes.

    Not sure if this is too late or even is considered a landscape.. Not the shot I wanted.. Couldn't get the one I wanted, where I was going to take the photos, was occupied by a live fire weapons training mission. So had to settle for this. Plan to try again tomorrow.

    I like that photo but... live weapons training mission? Were you taking part in the mission?

    Just thinking -- maybe the picture would have more of an impact if it is in B&W?

    Tony,
    I was thinking making it B&W also.. Maybe play with it later and see. I am in the US Army. They were doing nite live fire exercises.. Was going to see if I could take some pics of them firing, but had my daughter with me and I wasn't in uniform.
