I'd also like to suggest a different background, something with texture, instead of just plain white-- perhaps something dark with slightly lighter scanlines going through? Might want to choose a color, like a dark green or a dark red or something like that. Greys can get tiring, so I do suggest throwing in some color. Also, throw in a different colored background for the currently grey background: perhaps another color that's either darker or lighter, with another very slight texture perhaps, that'll go along nicely with the scenter color. Make the (currently grey) background static, and then the "info" (currently white) background scrolling. Definitely try a different font, as already mentioned, and play aroudn with CSS. good luck!
