    Analog vs. Digital

    Hey Guys,
What is the best way to create Flash video content? I am new to the whole video stuff, is it better to spend the money on an expensive digital camera or record everything with an analog camera and then digitize it. If analog is the best route for say training videos, what applications are the best for creating converting to digital content.

    Thanks All

    Hi,

IMO If you want the ultimate best quality you should go raw digital all the way up until your last step, which will be to encode the video. But I don't know what price that will come at. I would suspect that for most people using a dv camera would be good enough quality at a good enough price point. With DV you can work digitally (but with DV compression artifacts) through the whole editing process.

One problem with going between analog<->digital is your going to change your information. How much it changes will depend on the system.
