Using PC TrueType fonts in Mac OS X

I'm trying to figure out why, in OS X, Flash will not recognize the font assignments in an .fla created on a PC. The appropriate PC TrueType fonts have been installed into the Library>Fonts folder; the PC fonts show in the font menu, and I can author new flash documents just fine...but for some reason Flash (7 and 8) will not pull the fonts into a pre-existing document created on a PC.

    Anyone?

    Thanks,

Are you using something like Suitcase for font management?

So far I've tested on my home machine (with Suitcase) and a machine at work (without). The results seem to be the same.

In my 5 years as a Flash designer I've noticed that Flash is unusually picky when it comes to pulling the correct fonts into a document, so this isn't terribly surprising. I'm hoping to find a decent solution, however, since if I can resolve this issue it will mean that I can work from home on my Mac, networking with my PC-based studio.
