    new website

    built completely in Swish max
file size is huge almost 6M because of images
    loadtime: 1min w/dsl
    6.5 min w/56k
    10 sec. with cable

What is the best format for images?
    I want to put 20, i have 10 now @ 292by292px
What settings are best ie. color, resolution, ect. in said image format?
Where can i find out how compact the whole movie/sprites and content?
    overall design?
    www.hdfinishes.com 85% finished
Thank you for your honest opinion
    Ty

Swishmax has the very nice ability to load the images externally at runtime and Lys has a great example he's posted recently that even if you did not want to use (in case you want to make one), at least you can see how he loads images without need for a server side script at runtime. It's one of the best examples of Swish coding I have ever seen...personally.

You need to get those images out. 6.5 minutes is never gonna fly.

I'm sure if you posted the php someone would check it (unless it's the frontside thats the issue and not the backside) and preloaders are all over the place to see how others do it. Swishzone and Swish-Tutorials resources have many examples by now I imagine and might be worth a look to compare yours to others.
