    Glad you likey
What programs do you guys use for your vector stuff? The last one I did with Flash and Photoshop, the first one was with Photoshop only. Anyone use Illustrator? I was thinking about getting it.

    i use flash for mine.

i have illustrator, and people do make amazing stuff in it, but i can't create anything decent in it. i need to sit down and spend some time learning how to use the tools (i don't get on well with the pen tool).

I love the pen tool. That last one I did of the forest was done exclusively with the pen tool. And its funny because I used to hate the pen tool with a passion.

How did you save your stuff as a bitmap in Flash? I was looking for it but only found jpg and gif, both of which lost a lot of quality once published.

what application do you use the pen tool in then? i thought you didn't have illustrator?

my volley was a jpeg. don't tend to use bitmaps. if i remember rightly you can choose the 'quality' of the jpeg when you export it, and mine worked out ok (looks ok to me anyway).

Natsia... I personally think you're being a bit paranoid. We're all inspired subliminally by stuff we see... I know that advertisements tend to sorta be how I pick and choose my text placement a lot of times, and I'm not fully aware of it.

I doubt it's plagiarized, you showed me a couple of versions as you were building it... so I know you did the work. Relax... if it make you feel better, I'll show you some items where I know the placement of certain things, perspective, or something from my portfolio were influenced by past advertisements.

However, gotta say... I like this image, as well as this battle, quite well. Keep it up ladies.

Wow-wee what did I miss?! Natsia, love that last one and you are just being paranoid.

Carly awesome return! I like the way this battle is going.

I am going to try to get something up tomorrow, but it might have to wait until after the holidays.

I use the pen tool in Photoshop, is it different in Illustrator? I have never used that program.

I chose the highest quality but the fill colors came out blotchy, I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I don’t really use Flash for drawing or really anything for that matter. And your image, when I right click and save it comes up as a bmp, but when I go to the URL it is a jpg...weird...

that's cool as far as i'm concerened. i very much doubt i'd be able to do anything 'til january anyway, so i was going to say i will either have to step out of this and let you two battle on alone, or we put it on hold for a bit....

as far as the pen tool goes, nope i think it's the same in photoshop actually. for some reason i thought it was different, but just had a quick play with it in photoshop, and i can't work that one either!!!

by the way, i just had a look in flash, and if you do 'export image' you can choose bitmap as the format. but yeah i saved it as a jpg, not sure why it chooses to save it as a bmp when you right click.... maybe it's an IE thing? ....dunno.
