Lefteye, you've friggin' grown tons better in a short while dude. Font choices are starting to come together for you - one of your weaker points in the past, imho.

Dave-O, I've liked your style for a while; just need some work on the balance, imho.

Thanks gerbs. That really means alot coming from you.

I've been working so hard outside of the arena to make my design skills shine more than they used to. Everything i look at whether it's in print, on the web, or on TV, i've been analyzing and comparing to see what works and what doesn't (especially typography). I've been given more design jobs, both freelance and at work that have allowed me to show some skills & grow. I really have to attribute that to all the feedback and practice i get here in the arena.

The chair seems a bit off to me. Maybe if you could have changed it's colors to soften it or match the background, it might ahve been better (same wiht the towel).

Yeah. maybe do a little blurring on the edges to soften them up as well.

The chair looks like it's been over-sharpened or there's an overlay using vivid light perhaps. either way, class finish, just a bit pixelated in some areas.

I love the look you applied to the sun. The colors are vivid and the image is clean. Great job. Similar coments about the chair and such.

well thanks for all of the good words, and suggestions, gerbick is right, it does have some overlays (one of them being vivid light).

I wanted to make the chair stand out and look a bit surreal, it kinda matchs the leg, but i agree that it is a bit to pixelated.
