Recommended Dimensions?
I am trying to figure out the recommened dimensions for a flash movie.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi. It depends on what the Flash movie is... for websites 800 X 600 or 1028 X 1024 (forall you geeks out there ) work quite well, but for animations, 550 X 400 is almost standard.

FK's Geezer Mod
Just keep in mind, for a monitor set to 800x600, the actual working area is more like 785x415 or so, because of the scrollbar and the browser tool bars. Not sure what it is for 1280x1024, but it's not that full amount.
Plus, as mentioned, a larger movie, if it has much animation, will skip, jump or lock up older computers. Best to know what audience your target is, and build for them, then warn everyone else that it requires Hi-speed internet or a fast computer to view.

IMHO..there is NO set size(s) to use..you can NEVER tell how a user has his breowser set up.. (small icons?, large icons? icons w/text...etc..etc) these are GUIDELINES to go by..
