I don't mind submitting a picture of myself.. I don't know though.. never submitted my drivers license over the net for anything though...

    What should I do?

I am thinking... can I obscure my DL#? That's practically like uploading my SS#.

This form isn't even on SSL

I really want to upload there, but I don't know about this... what would you do?

I would just give it up and use imagestation.com instead!

Moved to the photography forum... I'd scan it, blur out everything but your name and image of yourself...

Then they can contact you if there is a problem.

I'd seriously test that page with the Google Safe Browsing Firefox extension to make sure it's not a "spoof"... but seriously, that sounds very odd.

I went ahead and submitted it with the DL# obscurred.

It's not something I want to entirely fake because it's a potential business opportunity.

    Thanks for the responses everyone.

After a few years , you can only join some forums and chatrooms with your passport.(digital passport (very official))You need to put it in a device that reads the contents.I'm never gonna do that ! That's not privacy anymore !
    People need privacy !

You need to be careful if you give your personal info.Once you give it , theres no way back and everybody knows who you are.

    Thanks for that link frex,
    very interesting indeed.

Really I started out downloading from istock. I thought uploading some would help balance out the downloading and possible make a little pocket change.

I think once and if I am approved I will be very selective about which images I chose to upload. Not to upload my 'best' images.

I had to post here, couldn't help myself ). ISTOCK really really sucks. I think it's the most idiotic site ever, and it's being run by idiots (at least the approvers are). MAAAN I hate istock.

I tried to upload some flash files, they rejected them for 5 or times, for the most stupid reasons (of course, every time I was uploading different files, according to what those imbeciles were telling me), until I said screw them, and gave up. A friend of mine who owns a flash design studio was telling me the same thing, that their files were rejected on istock for no reason, and these guys are pretty great, they are among top sellers on most stock flash sites.

Well, I had to write this post, as I really hate istock (and I'm the kind of person that rarely hates anything).

Ok well thanks for bringing up a 2 year old thread just to say that the site sucks.

    Don't do it again.
