I'm almost certain this is your own website, Jeay. Mellowlabs...that's yours isnt it?

This site is really slick. Very polished.

A couple of the effects lasted maybe a bit too long for my liking.
    Keep it rural.

This is good. The muted hues, and soft, rounded edges look great. The graphic/interface style reminds me a bit of the Advance Flash website. The site has a refreshing feel to it. Well done.

    Yeah

It's a very nice piece of work, but I do not like the fact that I have to schroll to see the rest of it. Very impressive though.

Agreed. I'm viewing at 1600 x 1200 resolution, so for me it isn't a problem. But it seems that for anyone with anything below 1280 x 1024, you'll have to scroll. The background graphics could be placed in a layer with 'hidden' overflow attributes, while the main Flash movie will be in a layer of its' own, reducing the required resolution to 800 x 600 (still with minimal vertical scrolling). But for anyone viewing at 1024 x 768, the site should fit without any issue.

Yea optical is right, Jay dident do the site, I did. We are good friends though, and I do work for AF.com but not interface work, only motionfx.

Thanks for your feedback guys, I wasent aware of that scrolling problem but i see you have to scroll when you are on 1024px*768 I try will sort that out as soon as possible. Got some other work going on, so I hope i have time later today.

Im glad you like the site.

Are you kidding me? Why dont you, Jeay, own up and say that this site you just posted is your own work? A few months ago you added me on MSN and yourself sent me a preview of the same website. You also sent me this "aquarium" animation made in AE of the mellowlab's logo.

I would've thought that you of all people know better than to post your own work here in the Cool Sites forum.

zakp0: yea your right, i just changed my nick as I did on ultrashock just because people confuse me for jay all the time.

Cant really say I remember who you are, and I dont recall that i made a "aquarium of my logo" or something like that.

I posted it in sitecheck, but got very little feedback, so I wanted to posted it in cool sites just to see what people in here think of it. Ussaly people are more hash in here and post alot more feedback.

sorry. (hell, rules are ment to be broken).
oh well, just close the thread.

    Am I missing something here?

Please tell me why this site is getting so much feedback. It's poor graphically, conceptually and functionally. It is certainly not worthy of the tag 'cool' and if the person who posted it designed it aswel then you are mistaken my friend - sorry! come back when you have learned some basic design skills.
