    That is superb! A perfect design job i'd say - just right for the client.

    I want to say that's cool but...it's been done before way too many times. And I've seen much smoother and realistic page curls than that.

    Slick design though as said I think the page turning has been done to death. It works on certain sites but the novelty has worn off.

    I don't agree...

    yeah - we've all seen this done before, but it's rarely done in the right context.

    think about it. if you were a photographer and you wanted someone to look through your portfolio what would your ideal situation be? i'd say sat down in a comfortable chair with a refreshing drink, maybe some pleasant background music and no distractions. well it's not possible to make people sit or drink yet (maybe in flash 9 though) but the mood, the lack of filler text, the atmosphere, for me, makes you want to kick back and flick through.
