please provide feedback on my site...

    hi all!
well, it's been a while in the making and i'm sure i have commented on some of your sites that have been posted here...payback time, eh?

    looking for some honest feedback.
it's my personal website so it isn't "professional/buisness" per say, but i am trying to keep a somewhat professional/relaxed atmosphere.

please let me know the good bad and the ugly!
    thanks all!

it's really good - just lacks a bit of sound i think. really easy navigation but looks professional overall.

I really like the minimalist style of the site, the transitions occupy the eye, without confusion - very slick.

I would like to see a little more style cues from your 70's roots though - considering it's a personal site - maybe a little more flair?

Really nice site, it got my attention without pounding me over the head - quite enjoyable.

    Thanks for the inspiration.

    that was great dude!
    nice layout, simple and effective...
nice house, nice family, your kid look like the spiderman guy, you look like a very cool guy too!
One thing that maybe I missed, what's your name? I didn't see it in the site!
And there should be music in the background, something yours, or an mp3 player where you can listen to some of your tunes.

Keep up the good work and vibe!

thank you amox for your compliments!
the sound "stuff" is the next level to my site. yes there will be a continual looping file that plays over the site as a whole and then there will also be individual mp3 files to play as well.

    more comments please!

On your homepage you say that you 'perform and write covers....' but surely the whole nature of covers is that you didn't write them.

The site is nice - Not a huge fan of the inverted picture of you in the middle, looks mishapen and a bit unclear - a sharper one would look better I think.

Love the menu and the subtle way the panels build themselves - nice change from the 'in yer face' stuff that has been common since the nineties. Could the menu be a bit smaller to remove the need to scroll down to get to the bottom bits of it? (on 1024x768). I also agree with Chefxxl that it's maybe a little bland and you could flex a bit more creative muscle with it as it's a personal site.
