    Feedback on my sisters site.

Hi. I have made a small flash art portoflio for my 8-year old sister. (Don't look at the art. It's not mine.) I would like feedback on the layout of the site.

cool, but it should say "an 8 year old girl"

it needs some work, so let me write up somethings it needs:

The Navigation could be where it says HOME so you can compact the site.
THere is also no need to have 2 headers on the page. The footer should be smaller, and match the color of your logo.

no, that's to hard to use...you need to make a sinple, to-the-point website like this one: http://www.jayhunting.com/Flash.html

Just a suggestion - your navigation runs away from the mouse... This is bizarre and very difficult to use. Before going back to flesh out the site design try changing that nav to a static menu. Either that or place a transparent MC over the nav menu that follows the mouse and include the command to make the navigation stationary when the mouse is over it.

It's a nice start, but needs a good deal of work yet. I do love your sisters art though
Good lord, it's been a while

I agree, the menu should be a static one, or fix it so it is easier to use.
On your 'please click OK' frame, the 'OK' is difficult to press, this is because you have the button set only for the actual line of the letter as clickable. You should set a hotspot for the enitre area around the 'OK' button.
How much did you charge your sister?

not to be picky, but your grammar is a little bit off:

The online portoflio of a 8 year old artist.
    should be
The online portoflio of an 8 year old artist.

it sounds like the 8 year old girl wrote it!

not to be picky, but your grammar is a little bit off:
This from a seventeen year old who has as many, if not more, errors of grammar, punctuation and sentence structure for his personal site (a webdesigner no less!)? Is that same 8 year old working yours Taco?

My point is? It is nitpicking and an error common to us all (except those with halos).

Adobemedia...I think it's great you support your sister. I hope my sons support each other like you two do. I think however you make her site...if she likes it....you have succeeded. I'll bet she gets a kick out of seeing her paint creations on the internet thanks to her brother.
