Bang with Star Confetti Help Please

I found this really cool bang that has star confetti...I would like to know how to make this. Here is the link:

it's the header on the main page. You'll see it when you get there. I would like to do this for my header on my cheer page. It would be perfect for my site...it's carolina explosion all stars...

Hi,
I know the standard way of doing this (hope it is of any help to you)

First you draw the big star which is on the back of the girl in the air. You make it bigger gradually with maybe 5-10 frames on the timeline. Then when it reaches the last frame, you start to make more frames that have a lot of mini-stars (multi-colored confetti) move out away from the center of the larger star, moving rapidly (fewer frames) then slowly falling (more frames) later in the timeline.
