Exporting embedded library items
I inherited a huge Flash project but not the linked source files that went with it (.wav, .mp3, .bmp, .gif etc). These files are all embedded in the library.
Anyone know of a way to export them so they can be edited then re-imported into the Application file?
Any response helpful

If you just right-click whatever it is you want to edit in the library, you can choose "Edit with.." and choose a program to.. well.. edit it with, lol.

In my place it's not that easy. When I choose 'edit with' on a picture and the source doesn't exists anymore, I get an error.
When a hdcrash ruined my fla of a presentation, all I had was a exe or swf on my laptop (don't know which one any more). I was able to extract sound and graphics with a swf decompiler and rebuild my original. Just do a search on google on these words and use it on your own files.
Never accept the first 'impossible' unless it comes from a lady.

FK's Geezer Mod
To export an image, make a new movie clip and drag the image to the stage, then use File/Export Image.
To export a sound, either make a new fla and drag the sound to the main timeline, or add it to the main timeline if there are no other sounds there, then use File/Export Movie, use the drop down to select wav, [flash only exports wav's], set the format settings, and save it.

Sensational solution!
