This is the most difficult topic with the freedom of speech... i guess we just have to ignore this "extremists propaganda" until somebody comes up with a better idea

Actually, Geezer, many a christians have condemned the blasphemous cartoons.

But go ahead and riot, you think your childish gushing of hatred isn't matched by new and just as volitile hatred of muslims in the west? Most people here are hardly as forgiving or as contrite as some priggish and apologist government leaders would have you believe.
You're reinforcing my argument that these types of anti-islam propaganda only inflate an already volatile situation. You can't sit there and say that you are better than the people torching embassies and whatnot, while threatening that your people will retaliate. You are just as bad.

Besides, your ever-increasing hatred for everything and everyone that is against your personal view makes you an extremist, and I fear people like you, just as I fear some extremist muslim blowing up our public transport here in Sweden. You're just as bad, only you're wrapping your views in the star-spangled banner - thus justifying your views.

    Shame on you.

I don't say I'm better than anyone. In fact, I understand these childish outbursts far more than the people doing them. But if you think that puts me on their level, go ahead, it's your misaprehension, not mine.

And by the way, retaliation for say, a nuke launched on the US or an ally by Iran is no threat, it's an assured response, and has been part of the american psyche for decades. Any attack using WMD of any kind will be responded to "in kind". The shrub won't even have to go to congress to get an OK for that. He already has it.

Besides, your ever-increasing hatred for everything and everyone that is against your personal view makes you an extremist, and I fear people like you, just as I fear some extremist muslim blowing up our public transport here in Sweden.
Don't for a minute think that "my views" are held by me alone. If hatred of a corrupt government and inniquities done by them makes me an extremist, then I admit it. If hatred of the very people who blindly hate me for something I've never done, then so be it, I'm proud to be an extremist.

    <edit>

Actually, I don't hate muslims, I do hate their raggedy assed leaders who incite them to violence they'd just as soon not do, and I hate stupidity of any kind, yours included. So if that comes across as extremism, to friggin bad.

I believe Bush actually did say those quotes, though I think comparing him to a Christian Crusader based on those quotes is a real stretch. The US government doesn't invade countries to convert them to Chrisitanity, that is left up to wacko missionaries and people like Ann Coulter.

I'd do her for two major reasons... I'm like the worst thing that could happen to her career and I know she's into some heavy duty kink. We're talking about american flag ball gags and cat o' nine tails with Clinton mistresses names on each tassle. Perhaps some Enron nipple clamps and a fake shroud of Turin, throw in some rose petals and some other stuff, she's a freak. A wide-eyed freak. You know it.

    Der Kinkmeister has spoken.

"We would also urge people who are criticizing these cartoons to speak out forcefully against all forms of hate speech, including cartoons and articles throughout parts of the Arab world, which frequently espouse anti-Semitic and anti-Christian views," McClellan told reporters....

    Iran counteracts with Holocaust cartoons:
Iran’s biggest-selling newspaper has chosen to tackle the West’s ideals of “freedom of expression” by launching a competition to find the 12 “best” cartoons about the Holocaust, the Associated French Press reported on Monday.

Farid Mortazavi, graphics editor for Tehran’s Hamshahri newspaper, said that the deliberately inflammatory contest would test out how committed Europeans were to the concept freedom of expression.

“The Western papers printed these sacrilegious cartoons on the pretext of freedom of expression, so let’s see if they mean what they say and also print these Holocaust cartoons,” he said.

Iran has withdrawn its ambassador to Denmark and has said it plans to review trade ties with all countries where the cartoons were published.
Watch the Jews go on the rampage like the wild monkey scenes we are witnessing at the moment.....sure, cause every one acts like barbarians when they are insulted.

What's to bet that they will get angrier when they get no reaction.

iTonyHere is the link to the story

Ok so now they just look like complete hypocrits. If the Iranian government is going to allow the same crap to be printed there, then I assume the protests can stop now?

You know what screw it, I applaud them. At least we can see that free press is working in Iran. I welcome them to the 18th century.

Now we just need to prepare for all the rioting and embassy burning the Jews are going to do tomorrow.

The thing you have to take into account is the social demographic of the people rioting. In Europe these are the poor, disillusioned youth. They have no other means to express their discontent at society so they have channelled it through these protests on this issue.

The extreme right are taking advantage by handing out inflammatory banners and placards – recent protests in London were seen holding banners advocating suicide bombings, beheadings etc. The evidence suggests that they were all written by the same small group and handed out to the crowd. Hitler used these methods to inflame mobs at demonstrations, Soccer hooligans do the same. The poll tax demonstrations in the 1980’s ended in riot, the anti globalization protests are trouble hotspots. Are these all called by muslims? Nope they are cause by a small hard core of trouble makers that instill a mob mentality on the protest as a whole.

    Even Jewish people riot!!!OMG

Definetly a huge factor in Europe, but in the middle east I think it is much deeper than that there it is academicly intsitutionalised.

I read ( Im looking for the link) that the cartoons were actualy published in Middle East countries with a few more derogatory ones added.

The crazy thing is that the cartoons in Denmark were actualy published first in September last year.
