    Themed Photography :: Week 31 :: BOKEH

    NO PHOTOSHOPED DEPTH OF FIELD ALLOWED THIS WEEK.

    We all love it. We all do it. Now it's time for you to show it. Your use of DOF is what this is all about. Time to get your BOKEH on!

    Use this week's theme creatively and let's see those photos!!

    As always, the Ru|3z:
    • Photoshopping of images IS allowed as long as you state what it is that you have done to your photograph(s). Please remember though, that this is NOT a Photoshop battle this is Themed Photography.
    • Let's keep the file and image size under FK guidelines (under 750 px wide).
    • All photographs must be related to the current weekly theme.
    • Photographs must be taken by the idividual posting (no stealing photos).
    • Use any camera (ie. cellphone, point-and-shoot, disposable) just submit!
    • Multiple submission are welcomed.
    • Photos must be no more than a week old. Take some NEW pictures people!

    This is very much against the rules, but this week I am without a digital camera and I'm going on holiday half-way through it, so this is my small contribution.

    Happy snapping

    You do, you just can't see them! Try zooming in as far as the optical lens will go (not into digital) and then focus or something, with something in the background. Take a piccy and you should find a small but pleasant amount of depth of field.

    Did this today and my fingers are all frozen, so maybe it is not bokeh but blurryness from shaking of the cold outside

    EV, those look really great, No. 1 is my favorite. Can you say what equipment, aperture, shutter speed, etc. you used?

    All of them were with my 20D resting on my desk except for the last one.....hand held - ISO 400 - 55mm - f5.6 - between 1/30 and 1/20 sec.

    Nothing special. Oh, and I pulled a tad bit of the red out using the Color Balance Palette.
