Alright, so I bought World of Warcraft 3 days, and it has completely consumed my life. I went out 1 time since I purchased it, and that was for the Super Bowl. I skipped class today, and I blew off plans. The game is amazing, and none of you should buy it unless you want to turn out as an obsessive idiot, like me. Just thought I would inform you all. (Mainly to force myself off of the game.)

I got it. The first week was insane. Couldn't get away from it. Now I play a few times a week when I have time, so I think I have it under control.

Yeah, there's a monthly fee, but the first month is free, and once you get through that you don't mind paying.

right now it's the only game i play. i've lost interest in console games or anything else for that matter.

as for the monthly fee.. if you figure it up, a year of WoW is $153.89 + $50 for the game itself. so for about the same as buying a new console and 1 game.. you play a friggin awesome game for 12 months.. i've been playing for over 2 now and i don't see myself getting sick of it anytime soon.. i'm not even done with my first toon yet. (plus i got the game on sale for $30 and pay 3 months at a time for a discount).

anyways.. that's how i rationalized the monthly fee

I'm more into console games, don't like games screwing up my computer. I must own 5 games i haven't finished.. hmm.. goes and finds FF7.

I justify the monthly fee like this. I spend $15 a month for the game, which is about the same as going out for a night, if it is a cheap night. The game will probably prevent me from going out at a minimum of 5 times, but even then, that is saving me $60. (In my head, it workss )

No offline mode, and yes you have to always pay to play.

I have quit the game after 3 months of playing it...i got it for an xmas gift last xmas...over a year ago, and it ate my life away like no other thing could. Great game...just be careful...its not a "wife" friendly game. I recommend not having a significant other, friends, or a life if you're thinking of buying the game. Just a small warning.
