Just saw it today in New Directors class. Discuss.

the beginning was awesome and the movie just sets you up for this unbelievable ending that ties the cosmos together.. it then lands flat on it's face and dissappoints the hell out of you with some crap thrown together ending just to wrap up an almost 4 hour movie. . .

not to spoil the ending or anything. . but what the heck were they thinking?

the only redeeming thing from the whole movie is Tom Cruise and his whole 'Respect the cock' schpeel.. priceless

Spoiler In Message. Dont Read If Havent Seen

hah. that part was good. it had moments but was a C- over-all in my book.

im sure the whole raining frogs and singing together thing probably had some deep meaning to the director. to me, it was too much of a departure from the rest of the story which i was getting into as psychological rather than allegorical. in the end it came off as gimicky.

sorry for such a vague response to the movie...school

well, it's an old movie. Amazed you haven't seen it before.

All the events didn't lead to the ending I expected. Tom Cruise was the only thing that made me want to watch it again - his character was first class.

    Good soundtrack too!
