ah the mysterious cities of gold, my friend bought the DVD series, we spent a week watching every episode. At the end of every episode there was this educational segment, funny as hell especially with the cheesy music in the background.

My wife grew up without cable TV, and didn't watch much regular TV in general. So whenever I say something random like "Whatchoo talkin bout Willis?" it goes right over her head. It's very heartbreaking.
Some great shows that people mentioned here that I forgot about. You Can't Do That on Television was funny. What I never understood though is why all the kids continue to eat at Barth's restaurant if it always made them puke?

Yep ... I think they were lizard looking creatures but disguised as humans. It was a mid-80s thing.

Yea, I remember the mini-series that scared all you kids back then.... but what was that show, I thought it was a spin-off... a regular show and the aliens look, act and dress like people, intermingle with people... the only difference is they have giant spotted heads.

alien nation... i remember that, they could get hit with salt water or it would burn then and kill them. one episode they had the aliens playing a russian roulette type game with salt water blasters.
i was cracking up.
