    washed out

totally new to any swift 3D. I'm trying to make a simple 2 letter logo that spins. I like what I did in the scene editor but when I go to preview and Export it looks washed out. I put a outer round bevel and reflective skin on it.

you need to add an environment to give the material something to reflect. you can change the color of the environment in the environment panel. a gradient pattern might work. i know that images (in the environment) work well for reflective surfaces. i especially like using a sky image.
also check your lighting a lot of times you can have too many lights on the subject which will wash it out
