looking for: a second of someones time ... please

i am new to flash and i just was floating through and saw a site by sasha21bad. it looked cool liked the pictures and the colors, the music play list was cool too. oh the site is andrealake.com. i liked it but again i am new and and i just want to make sure that the stuff i like and want to learn to do is the tight stuff. just asking for some guidance and an opinion or two.

So, she's from the apprentice eh? I wonder how much that site set her back.

I think it's pretty cool. It has it's own little unique funky flavor going on. Casual, a little grungy... I like that style... it's laid back but pretty tight... those video clips are cool. I dig the layout and navigation. The colors are odd and funky but I think that's the style it goes for and achieves.

That site has some bad usability issues.

I like the little video clip that plays alongside the larger pic of the woman and the overall style of the graphics. What I don't like is mystery meat navigation where you are presented with just a broad area of color instead of any kind of discernable navigation method. I really don't want to run my mouse over every pixel of that huge space just to make sure I didn't miss something.

So I would say I like the design, but give me a menu.
