    3d

    Witch will be the best 3d program to own for importing objects to Swift 3D. I own Light wave...any suggestions...

    Anything that can output *.3ds files, will be "best" for importing objects into Swift 3D, the standalone. So lightwave is definitely good/safe. It supports texture mapping coordinates, what not.

    However... I'll just put it out there. You should have the Swift3D Lightwave plugin instead. The standalone is great, I love the advanced modeler since 4.0... but if you have a nurb based modeler or a true quad based poly modeler - the polys in Swift3D are triangle based polys only, no quads - then why not model, animate, render within the lightwave environment as you always do and then output to *.swf?

    Just a lot less time spent outside of the UI of the 3D program of your choice, imho.

    And so worth the price for the output and savings of time.
