    dynamic textbox/ font problem

    hi
    hope someone can help here...

im using a custom font for one of my dynamic text boxes in flash 8.
where if the viewer hasnt got it installed, it wouldnt show up.

now i know of a few methods that are supposed to work...but they dont:
ive tried creating a flash font library sharing out the font- the fonts didnt even show in Test Movie.
ive tried embedding the relevant glyphs into my text box- didnt show in Test Movie.
ive tried importing the font into my library- didnt show in Test Movie.

all the while i had my friend test out my swf for me.
he keeps telling me it either shows up as somethng like Times New Roman
or it dosnt show up at all.

anyone know what the problem is here?

attached is the font im trying to use. maybe its just something wrong with the font itself?

I have answered this a couple times, in the future you can just use the search to see if your issue has already been covered.

ive already tried embedding the glyphs. in my case, just numerals.
which i guess, is equivalent to your 'Specify ranges' method.

that still didnt work for me though......

ok seem to have found the solution.
first i tried publishing the movie in 7.0
    that worked.
    but the filters dont.
so i was stuck with 8.0

    so i tried unchecking Autokern.
now everything seems to work perfectly.

ive yet to try it on a computer without the font installed.
but at least its showing up when i test movie and export.
