Flash video player

Hi, does anyone know of any open source flash video players that will play plain video files? Something similar to this but with video support:

Don't know of any open source players but I have a free player you can use if you don't need the FLA file. Not sure what you mean by "plain" video files though.

flash can only play flv encoded video files, I am also wondering what you mean by "plain"
if you want your own player not using the flash 8 components I recommend these great online tutorials, they are in fact in video format, and there is a set "Video Basics 1 to 8" that sets out a very elegant construction of a video player from scratch.
Also there is one about using a xml file to poulate a listbox with your video titles for the user to select from."XML video playlist"
