    Streaming Video

My client wants me to make a streaming video in Flash but gave me a movie on DVD. Can I do this or do I need to go back and get an AVI or Quicktime file?

If you are going to stream a .flv file ( flash video ), you will need a quicktime / AVI or MPEG ( maybe other file types ) to convert a video to flash video.

    you should be able to

You should be able to convert DVD media if you extract the video from the DVD first. There's a lot of useful tools here...

    www.videohelp.com

When you have converted it you can use a 3rd party application such as sorenson squeeze to convert the media to an FLV file, or even use the inbuilt converter in Flash V8.

    Hope this helps.
