I have a new media player that uses xml playlists, html & css files for info, so it can be updated without accessing the working file. It's here:

Wondered if this would be something for the exchange.

I've also updated most of the players I already have there and wondered if there was a way to replace them. All my players are at the "Media Player Showcase" link at the link above.

Thanks. The ones online are better than the ones at the exchange though. I guess I need to get hold of either Bret or Wilbert to see if I can update them. I've changed the multi-playlist version so that the buttons use a contentpane for the label. I like the one you have on the Exchange, but wanted to use buttons instead of the list. Of course, this sets a limit on the amount of play lists you can use. Wonder if there's a way to create buttons externally. I'd also like to put all the info into on xml file or something. That would be the cat's pajamas.

I'm trying to update some of them to as3. I get most of the changes, but some stuff ain't making any sense to me. I'm going to plug away at it for a minute before I beg for help. I got my TV almost ready, but some things seem way different.

...and it doesn't work when I download it. I need to upload the mp3 and put it in a zipped folder structure. Can I re-submit this and have the old one replaced?

I re-submitted as muteButton.zip Includes the sound file. Should work out of the box now. Whoever runs the exchange...can you delete my previous Mute Button fun file?
