    Face

    Hello!
I want to take the parts that are highlighted in a picture (like a face) and colour them to black, and the rest white. Like the classical Che guevarra picture.

Is there any program or function for this?

    Thanks

One name for this process is "posterisation". Any half-decent paint program can do this. If resources are limited, try googling for The Gimp -- it's free...

well if you wated to go the extra mile and hand-draw it, you could do it very simply in Flash.
Just outline all the areas that you want to have black by using the pencil tool (set on a smooth setting, well-- make sure that the edginess is set to your liking). Make sure that all the edges of all the black areas are conntected to each other-- that there are no gaps. Then, take the pain bucket tool and fill them in. Then, using the arrow tool, triple-click on ONLY the pencil line, not the inner fill, and then hit delete. Now you'll have a nice, crisp black-and-white (or whatever other colors, if you decide to add more shades) picture!
