i dont think the goasting can be helped, that photo was more of, lets try it and see what happens. prob should have shot it in raw so i only had to take one photo and not 3, but if i had did that i coudlnt have taken as many normal photos as i did (over 700 photos during the weekend)

also because of the plane and hand baggage restrictions i was limited to not bringing my tripod, so as u may notice i had to find walls of ground to do them all, which really doestn help, tho im still pleased with most of them

You tonemap all your images? These are very impressive. I haven't got very good results yet. How big of a bracket are you shooting at? 2 stops?

    Interesting blog: http://hdri.wordpress.com/

    Awesome HDR article http://range.wordpress.com/2006/07/1...ng-relaxation/

We really need to just make a master HDR thread...mods...merge all threads?

yea 2 stops, with 3 photos they come out really light, but i would auto level them in photoshop and fiddle about with some of the other shaddow and hilight photos.

its just a matter of the more you do the better you get i find

Yes, and please post yours too.

I'm still using the trial of Photomatix. I guess I may as well buy it, cause I'm hooked on the look.

ask, u useing mac or pc?

yea i think we should have a hdr thread, for all general hdr photos and talk, tho maybe seprate threads for something special

i really do think theres a fine line between a good or great hdr and a over worked/ tacky hdr.

    I'm on a PC.

I just checked the Photomatix site and there's a new Beta Photomatix Pro 2.3 for Windows.

hmhm now....a subject to photograph...? I hate being at a workplace. I wish I worked for myself so when I get inspired I can just go take some photos...

    Photomatix Pro - $99
    Tone Mapping Plug-in -$69
    Package of both - $109

HUH?! I wonder what I would buy....

I don't think the Tone Mapping Plug-in will help me. Don't you need CS for that to work? I only have PS 7.

phil-ray, we do not condone the discussion of illegal activity here. No more talk of trading codes. Period.

Nice work on the HDR's by the way...
