Yea Nords, it may be up to strength by the time and IF it reaches you... but it's just simply too early to tell what Ernie is going to do... we should have a better idea of what to expect once it get's out over open water tomorrow.

yeah, it's certainly not looking catastrophic or anything. but cat 1 gaston knocked out my power for 3.5 days and caused water damage to half my house. these things bite, whether they are 1s or 5s.

Just bought and moved in a 125gal saltwater reef tank, working on 5 web projects at the same time, and going into storm mode for Ma Bell... like admedia said... business as usual.

hey, it's done here for the most part. the bands started coming through about 9 this morning, with relative calm in between. then between 4-6 the eye was passing about 20 miles to the east, so we got sustained winds out of the north (charleston was at the 9 o'clock position) that were pretty strong. no damage, no flooding...basically everybody got a stormy day off of work/school. we've certainly had much worse.

everyone up on the SC/NC border should be getting it right now. good luck!
