It seems rather confined like there isnt enough negative space, the header looks nice as far as the images go it pops I dont know how much the average user pays attention to navigation gimiks but your is neat Its simple but it got me to play with it for a few seconds hehe
To me the use of all those dark colors seems to weigh down the page not to mention how tight the content is. It just feels to full for what its offering.
