MTV style

Hi all, i am making a flash animation and i want to make it seem like plants are growing and flowers are blossoming like some of the mtv bumpers.

i know its done with masks but my question is that i need some inspiration on the flowers and stuff that is growing. so does someone has an example or a website/movie or something like that.

Well, I do have a couple of flower animation there, but they aren't blosomming.
