Button - when mouseover I get text cursor??

Hey everyone,

I am having an issue with my flash button at runtime. instead of getting the hand pointer cursor like a button should, it shows a type cursor and I am able to highlight the text on the button. Because of this the actions assigned to that button are not working. I am not sure why the button is doing this, my other buttons are working properly. When i click on the button in my scene in flash, it is saying that it is a button...Can you guys think of something that I should check?

well im not sure if this is the answer for sure but there is a little button on the properties panel that has a capital A and a lower case b that is highlighted. when you roll over it it says selectable... could it be that?
