I have a background with a interlaced vine graphic and I am looking for the best way to make it look like its growning out onto my page?
Any ideas? Thank You.

masking would be yoru only way I woudl think..especially if its a static image.

I suppose you could rig up something with actionscript and drawing curve lines. You could draw a leaf or grape every now and then, depending on where the line has drawn itself. It could be quite effective, but would require a firm grasp on actionscript.

If you're just using a static image or animating on the timeline, then I would go with whispers suggestion. Make a mask layer that will sit over your image and animate it to move and grow to cover your vine image.
